About Us

Black Salt  is a food truck and mobile caterer that brings a twist to traditional dishes. Home to the elevated chicken sandwich, Black Salt was created out of a love of food and community with the goal of expanding the idea of what a food truck can be. We have had the pleasure of working with many breweries and distilleries from southern to Midcoast Maine as well as taking part in community events, weddings, graduations, company appreciation events, holiday celebrations, fundraisers and more!

Black Salt has been featured as a best food truck nominee in Downeast and Decor magazines as well as Portland Old Port, and Portland Media Group’s Best of the 207.
